ECS Therapy™ 850 Balm

ECS Therapy™ 850 Raw Full Spectrum Balm provides full spectrum hemp extract in its natural "raw" state, along with unique supporting ingredients. Each jar of our non-greasy balm delivers 850 mg of hemp derived Cannabidiolic Acid (CBDa) /Cannabidiol (CBD), plus 1600 mg of Levagen^®+ PEA (palmitoylethanolamide) for added synergy.  

Our soothing balm is made with natural and organic ingredients that are absorbed quickly into the skin. Additionally, Neossance^® Squalane was included to enhance penetration of the balm into the epidermis. Massage the balm into a targeted area.

ECS Therapy 850 balm also includes complementary botanicals that contribute to a more comprehensive effect. Terpenes are not unique to the hemp plant and are found in many other botanicals, including peppermint, clove and rosemary. Terpenes are aromatic compounds that give plants and flowers their smell. They can enhance the effects of certain phytocannabinoids as well as add their own positive effects.

We’ve carefully formulated our ECS Therapy 850 balm to be free of parabens, phthalates, petroleum, plasticizers and other recognized harmful ingredients that you may find in other products in the market.

Key Ingredients:

Raw Full Spectrum Hemp:
Beyond the well-known cannabinoid CBD, the hemp plant contains a range of other cannabinoids, including CBDa, an acidic precursor of CBD that provides many beneficial properties distinct from CBD. CBDa is found in the cannabis plant in its natural form before it is exposed to heat in the distillation process. In its raw form, the plant’s natural molecules, particularly the fragile terpenes, remain intact.

Our organically grown raw hemp is created using a unique, very low temperature supercritical CO2 extraction process that allows us to preserve CBDa along with other naturally occurring phytochemicals in hemp. 

Levagen®+ PEA (Palmitoylethanolamide):
Levagen+ PEA is an advanced, highly bioavailable form of palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), a bioactive lipid molecule that the healthy body produces naturally. PEA has been studied for over 70 years and can be found in extracts of plants and vegetables, such as egg yolk and soybean lecithin. The PEA used in our balm is from palm oil that is responsibly and sustainably sourced [RSPO certified]. Because PEA is an endocannabinoid-like molecule, it is an ideal complement to the raw hemp.

Neossance^® Squalane:
Our formula includes Neossance Squalane that is made using sustainable, renewable sugarcane. Squalane naturally occurs in the skin’s lipid layers, preventing transepidermal water loss (TEWL). In addition to promoting hydration and restoring the skin’s suppleness, this emollient helps efficiently deliver the cannabidiol (CBD), PEA and botanicals in our balm deeper into the skin.  A penetration study showed that Neossance squalane, when combined with CBD, can have a more impactful effect on the desired area, more immediately¹.
